# Partner with Cash App Pay

Cash App Pay partners with Payment Service Providers (PSPs) and select e-commerce platforms.

To integrate with Cash App Pay, prospective partners must go through an approval process, where we determine your goals and requirements. Once you're approved, we provision a developer account for you.

## Partner deliverables

Cash App Pay’s Partner Engineering team will configure and provide you with the following:

* **Developer account:** A developer account with the account configuration details that you provided
* **API access:** A Client ID and API Key that allow you to access our APIs
  * **ClientID:** A short application identifier that Cash App Pay uses to attribute API calls to your integration
  * **API Key (Client Secret):** A long lived secret token that should be stored and transferred securely. Never check it into source control.

## Cash App Pay for merchants

To add Cash App Pay as a payment method, merchants should [sign up with Afterpay](https://www.afterpay.com/en-US/for-retailers). This gives merchants access to both Cash App Pay and Afterpay.
