You can use Cash App Pay’s Postman collection to test the APIs in Sandbox and Production.

What is Postman?

Postman is a free-to-download tool for making HTTP requests.

Download Postman

  1. Visit the Postman website and download the version of Postman required for your platform.
  2. Install the Postman application on your computer.

Cash App Pay Postman collections

Download these files to your computer/local drive:

  • Cash App Pay Postman Collection

  • Cash App Pay Environment Variables

These files are valid for United States only.

Environment variables are using the Sandbox base url. To test in Production, you can update the host to the production base url api.cash.app

Import to Postman

To import the Cash App Pay Postman collection to the Postman application on your computer, do the following:

  1. Open the Postman application on your computer.
  2. Click Import.
  3. Select the Cash App Pay Postman collection files that you want to import.
    You can also import the entire collection by pasting the url of the json file.
  4. Once the files are successfully imported, you can start to test out the Cash App Pay APIs on Postman.
