What are the requirements for the Afterpay Adobe Commerce Extension?


Supported Countries

Afterpay is available for Adobe Commerce (Magento 2) merchants with a store address in the United States only.

Express Checkout is available with Version 3.4.0 and above.

The Cash App Pay Extension for Adobe Commerce/Magento 2 is only available to US merchants. See the Adobe Commerce - Install Extension topic for more details.

Adobe Commerce Version

The Afterpay Extension for Adobe Commerce (Magento) is compatible with version 2.2 or greater.

Store Currency

The Afterpay Extension relies on a dedicated Website Scope used for each market region (country) with a corresponding Base Currency set in Adobe Commerce Admin.

To set the Base Currency, go to Stores → Configuration → Currency Setup and set the currency to:

  • United States Dollars (USD)
